In COM 610, I used the social learning theory to shed a light on the importance of employee engagement. The theory suggests that individuals learn through observation and imitation. I used this concept to complete a textual analysis on a digital gratitude board that was displayed at the office in which I was working at the time. I created a digital presentation summarizing my findings as well.
Through assignments like these, I learned how to narrow down to very specific phenomenons to research. This allows for more focus when browsing for articles in the literature review process.
