Ethical Consideration

In COM 613, I created a digital presentation that outlined an ethical dilemma involving The North Face and Wikipedia.

Through assignments like these, I learned about public relations and the importance of leadership in times of crisis. Additional dilemmas I examined deeper include: Cincinnati Zoo (Harambe) and Build-A-Bear’s Pay Your Age event. It takes a special individual to not only implement a solution in these situations, but continue to work against any bad press surrounding the issue in the future. PR crisis professionals must be able to think strategically under pressure, which I realized may not be the right job for me.
